Consequently, the module contains rich functions and is largely self-contained reducing need for external circuits, but can also be easily expanded for additional functions.

Product DescriptionThe CB4100, is a miniature camera board that piggybacks a T4MPEG-4 module. It can be interfaced with network-camera systems and a variety of video equipment. Resembling the size of a PC card, it features an MPEG-4 compressor and decompressor LSI, an SD card socket, and a LAN connector. CB4100 is designed to record video from a camera in SD memory card with small data amounts (compliant with the SD-video standard) and to distribute images in real-time over a network. Moreover, CB4100 adds a web server function eliminating need for a dedicated display when the video is replayed. Videos can be enjoyed with a PC web browser, by which access to video data in the inserted SD memory card allows addition and erasure of video files.
