NextWindow announces the DesktopTouch 6S, the company's first six-camera, five-touch screen technology for PCs.
The DesktopTouch 6S is groundbreaking new technology that will meet
the requirements for supporting the Microsoft® Windows® 8 operating system.
With its multitouch capabilities and enhanced performance, the NextWindow DesktopTouch 6S is an advanced collaborative solution for consumer, business and education customers. Users can activate the screen with any object, including a finger, pen, brush or stylus. The DesktopTouch 6S is available in screen sizes ranging from 15" to 30" (38 to 76 cm), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) can choose to supply their own glass or purchase complete touch-screen solutions.
The six cameras are embedded around the screen to deliver consistent touch response across the entire display, enabling multiple users to simultaneously view content and perform tasks with extreme accuracy. With five touch points, the display makes it easier for users to interact with on-screen objects, use drawing tools, navigate throughout the operating system and play games.
